I moved back to Scotland with my husband Tim in 2014, after 40 years in the south of England. We have 4 married children (1 here and 3 abroad) and 10 grandchildren so it will come as no surprise to know that we travel a lot! I also enjoy reading, crochet and exploring Scotland.
From my teens I have been involved in church leadership in a variety of ways, and have been an Anglican priest since 2008. My first post was unusual – in a partnership of 4 denominations (Baptist, Methodist, URC, Anglican) – ecumenism is in my spiritual DNA! Although ‘retired’ I’m still a ‘Rev’ and minister from time to time in various Episcopal churches in the area.
My passion is to see us grow to ‘the full stature of Christ’ – healed and set free – just as Jesus demonstrated, becoming confident in who we are called to be. I also long to witness the ‘even greater things’ that Jesus prophesied over us disciples. This is a significant time in history and I’m delighted to be part of a church that wants to see God’s Kingdom come, with all that implies.
